Cesc Fabregas has taken to Twitter on Tuesday morning to deny rumours he’s the Chelsea rat.
Over the weekend news broke that one senior Chelsea player has revealed he’d rather lose for the Blues that win for Jose Mourinho.
Then, on Monday night, the Secret Footballer took to Twitter to announce that Cesc Fabregas is leading a “mini revolt” against the Special One.
The 28-year-old Spanish international has now taken to social media to flatly deny he’s a troublemaker at Stamford Bridge, adding he’s got a great relationship with Jose Mourinho, while he’s accused “individuals from the outside” for trying to cause troubles at Cobham.
Fabregas’s tweets are as follows:
I would like to clarify that contrary to a few reports form some online websites, I am extremely happy at Chelsea (…)

..and have an excellent relationship with the manager.
There maybe certain individuals from the outside trying to destabilise this club …

… but I strongly believe that we will bounce back and come good again.

The move by the midfielder to speak out publicly will likely ease tensions between the club’s fans and the player.
At the same time, Cesc’s comments do not remove the possibility that another player inside the Chelsea squad could be the so-called rat.
