Marouane Fellaini has said yes to AC Milan move but... [Corriere della Sera]
Man United’s Marouane Fellaini has apparently expressed his desire to join Serie A giants AC Milan this January, but talks between
the two clubs are yet to progress.
On Monday we reported that the San Siro side were very much interested in signing the Belgian midfielder but their initial loan enquiry was rejected right away by United.
Reports from Corriere della Sera today suggest that Milan are considering making a substantial bid for the midfielder and that Fellaini himself is pushing for a deal to be done, as the player wants regular football ahead of Euro 2016.
The report goes on to suggest that the 28-year-old is valued by the Premier League giants at €25million and the player himself would command a salary of over €3.5million per season, which could be a major stumbling block for the Serie A side.
The sale of Marouane Fellaini could be linked to United’s pursuit of Lazio midfielder Felipe Anderson, with a deal for the 22-year-old rumoured to be close.
We’ll be watching to see how this developing story plays out throughout the January transfer window.
