Valencia want Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao [AS]

Valencia will look to end Radamel Falcao’s Premier League nightmare by making a bid to sign the Chelsea striker in January, according to AS.

The 29-year-old has endured somewhat of a torrid time since his arrival in England in the summer of 2014. After making a much anticipated move from Monaco to Manchester United big things were expected of a player labeled at the time time as one of the most lethal strikers in world football, but soon after arriving at Old Trafford things only started to go down hill for the Colombian.

The striker only managed to score four goals in an entire season in Manchester, a decision which led to manager Louis Van Gaal choosing not to extend the forward’s loan move at the club.

Despite failing to set the world alight in Manchester, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho took the game of bringing Radamel Falcao to West London. But so far this season the striker has been very much a bit part player at Stamford Bridge, and has failed to rediscover any type of form he had before his move to England a couple of years ago.

It seems that the right move for both the club and player is for Falcao to make a move back to La Liga.
