Bayern Munich & Real Madrid are chasing Harry Kane - Evening Standard

You can just imagine Daniel Levy licking his lips reading today’s claims in
the London Evening Standard.

According to journalist Tom Collomosse, both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are chasing Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

The article is pretty light on details of the interest from the Allianz Arena and the Santiago Bernabeu, however it’s reported that both Bayern and Los Blancos have sent scouts to watch Kane in action this season.

How will would Kane cost? That hugely important topic is left blank by the Evening Standard, and one suspects that Spurs would be seeking top dollars for their star centre-forward. Kane has scored 22 goals for Mauricio Pochettino in the current Premier League season.
That’s a new Tottenham record in the EPL for a striker, as Gareth Bale once scored 21 goals, as did Teddy Sheringham.

As reported in the Evening Standard:

The striker is happy at Tottenham and has no thoughts of playing elsewhere, but sources in Spain and Germany have told Standard Sport that both Real and Bayern have asked to be kept informed of his plans.
Real and Bayern, who are both in this season’s Champions League semi-finals, have watched Kane during this campaign. Signing Kane seems to be a major ordeal for any prospective purchaser.

The 22-year-old signed a five-and-a-half-year deal 14 months ago, which increased his wages to about £50,000 a week.
