France Football have dropped a bombshell today linking Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo with PSG.
According to their sources, Ronaldo has met PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi for five sit down meetings in recent times. Moreover, the last meeting between the parties was just last week.
The implication is clear: PSG want to sign Ronaldo. That Ronaldo was in Paris last week was actually known. Indeed, we reported on Cristiano’s trip the other day. Ronaldo had dinner with 23-year-old Victoria’s Secret model Maria Borges in the French capital.
The dinner happened the night after Ronaldo scored a hat-trick in the Champions League as Real Madrid overcame Wolfsburg.
It’s now been reported that Ronaldo also met the PSG president during his trip to the French capital.
As to the details of the meeting, it is claimed the Real Madrid star took a private plane to Le Bourget airport where he was picked up and taken to the Hotel Costes in Paris to meet Al-Khelaifi. Ronaldo took a plane back the following morning to be back for Real Madrid training at 11am.
It’s also worth noting that the France Football story has emerged on the same day that Sky Sports announced PSG have approached Jose Mourinho to become their new manager.
Of course, Mourinho and Ronaldo have an existing working relationship from their time together at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Just imagine if PSG start next season having added the Special One and Cristiano to their roster!
